Back-sliders, don't despair
We all go through periods when we don't have the time or inclination to go through the rigors of watching what we eat, exercise or basically take care of ourselves. If it makes you feel any better, I frequently go through the same thing.
Until recently, I have been working twelve hour days which included a three hour commute, and let me tell you, when I got home I didn't feel like doing anything. I would get home, work on the computer a little, go to bed and get up to start the whole thing over in the morning. I gained twelve pounds, went on a no wheat diet for about a month, lost six pounds, quit the diet, and went right back up there again.
I have vowed to start walking again. I know that it will make me feel better and help me lose those extra pounds. No time? I have to make time. Why don't you start walking too? We'll do it together via the internet and we'll both feel better. Drop me a line and let me know how you are doing, and I'll give you little updates on my progress too.
Very few of us can stay slim and in shape without taking the time and effort. It's not always easy to keep off those extra pounds, but at least with moderate exercise we don't have to starve ourselves. Remember, just eat sensibly, stay away from sweets, drink lots of water and walk.
Keep up the good work, and don't get discouraged. There are a lot of us fighting the good battle together.
